While A Level Computer Science maybe one of the most in-demand subjects, you should first make sure if this is for you. It is sad to see some students drop out of the course, sometimes after a year has gone by. So this foundation course is meant to give you a first-hand introduction of how the course is going to be with interactive lessons within two months.
Why you should consider this programme
This program is for you if you fall into one or more of the following:
You have not done Computer Science (CS) for your O Levels (or GCSEs) and this is your first exposure to the subject.
You did O Level (GCSE) CS but you're not sure about your programming skills. So you want to have a second chance.
You think you can get the hang of coding but never got the chance to give it a shot.
You plan on pursuing engineering studies (eg: Software, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic, Physics, etc) but you're not sure if it is meant for you
You're ok with CS but you'd like to have an early start with your A Level programme and have a good foundation of the subject before September.

The A Level programme is very comprehensive and is taught over a period of around 2 years. This foundation program will cover the following areas at an introductory level.

Peripheral devices
Computer architecture
Networking
Artificial Intelligence & its applications
Algorithms - Pseudocode & flowcharts
Python programming
Data structures
Class schedule

Sri Lankan students (paying from within the country): LKR 23,000
International students: USD 140
Duration & Continuity
This foundation programme is 2 months long - Usually in July and August.
Those students who wish to continue into the A Levels can join the appropriate group.
