C++ is one of the most powerful languages you have for building native applications. Although it's better off as a systems programming language, it can also be used to build native commercial apps.
In this program, you will be taking off from standard GUI concepts and go all the way into interactive database applications using a database server lke MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
It is however highly recommended that you have a solid foundation in programming equivalent to the Core C/C++ programming course that we offer.

The core programme is expected give the student a comprehensive understanding of working with the GCC C Compiler (or MinGW depending on the OS). This is the foundation that you'll learn at university or any other recognised/popular engineering programme. Students learn the concepts and techniques of programming at a typical College (or A Level) course, and deal with some elements that are covered in a typical undergraduate programme in Computer Science.
The Advanced programme extends on the knowledge and skills gained at the foundation level. If you only need to focus on university undergraduate studies, this extension is not necessary for you. On completing the advanced programme, students learn how to build real-world GUI applications with a database back-end.
Since we use CodeBlocks as the GUI framework, we hope that students appreciate the fact that the projects built are easy to port onto different operating environments.
or Contact us for further details. If by 'vocational' you mean that you could work as a programmer to build any C/C++ application, the answer is 'no'. But if you mean a training programme to help students advance into a working career, yes. You get the knowledge and skills needed to pursue higher studies in the subject.
No, we are not affiliated. The programme is not certified by any vocational authority.
We initated our training sessions in response to a demand for skilled experts in the software industry. As a software company, we had difficulty in recruiting the calibre of professionals we needed. So we started training our new and prospective recruits and this is what led to the programmes we have today. So we do not need any affiliation. The results we've produced are sufficient.
This programme is in two phases. The core sessions are only to give a foundation to students intending to study at a university or pursue further studies as a software professional. So this does not offer you a job. However, it gives you the knowledge and skills to build console or terminal applications without a GUI.
The advanced programme introduces you to GUI programming and databases. This knowledge allows you to build real-world applications. However, you will also need the knowledge of the domain in which you're going to work. For example, in order to build accounting systems, you will definitely need a solid grounding in accounts. We do not provide this additional subjec knowledge.
The C/C++ training programme does not guarantee or promise employment to anyone. For that matter there is no training programme in the world (even at any university) that can guarantee such a thing. It comes down to your own skills and how you present them to the world.
When we recognise top performers, we recommend them to various organisations for work. But this does not mean that everyone gets work.
There are also times that we recruit our top performers to work on projects of our clients. This however, does not mean that everyone gets a placement on a project.
